BTA jerseys shown off in Oregon

We received this note from Jim in Oregon...

Last saturday the sun came out and my wife (Cindy) and i took a 20mile relaxing ride.....stopped at our favorite neighborhood eatery and had the attached picture taken. in our beloved and very attractive WA BTA shirts.

....today it is snowing....yesterday my coat was coated with hail and the roads were covered 1/2 inch deep....Oregon in March offers any kind of weather you can think about.

Hope all is well

Send us cycle holiday photos in your BTA jerseys. PS Jim has sent us an Oregon shirt which Phil Gyford models for us.

Perth Bicycle Network Community Stakeholder Consultation report

See the consultant's report (600 Kb pdf) The final consultants report was completed in December 2007.

It includes feedback from Local Government, surveys, community meetings, BUGs and of course the BTA. Find out what respondents say about their preferences for types of road solutions, where the black spots are, and what they think should be done to improve the network.

Thank you to all those members who sent their feedback about the Perth Bicycle Network. The BTA submitted your views to the Department. You will enjoy reading some of the great ideas about ways to improve cycling facilities. See the BTA submission (246 kb pdf)

Missing Cycling in the West?

The Department for Planning and Infrastructure has withdrawn financial support for Cycling in the West so no hard copy will be distributed. You can still find the rides calendar here online and we are looking at alternative means to communicate with our members.

You can still find all the latest info on our new e-bulletin pages
