Audax W.A. organises long-distance endurance rides of 200 km to 1500 km in length. Riders ride at their own pace but there is an overall time limit for each ride. There are numerous Audax clubs operating world-wide.

Bike for Bibles organises a number of fund raising rides throughout the year for cyclists aged between 10-60 years. Funds raised through personal sponsorship of riders goes towards literacy materials used for classes in developing countries around the world. |

The Cycling Touring Association organises a wide variety of recreational & social rides, including short and long day rides, weekend trips and longer cycle tours of a week or more. The CTA also organises the week-long On Your Bike W.A. cycle tour usually held each year in late spring.

The West Coast Masters Cycling Council organises competitive cycling events for veteran cyclists (over 35 for male, over 30 for females). The racing season normally runs from April to the end of October with criterium events over the summer period. |

The Over 55 Cycling Club organises recreational bike rides for seniors. Rides are usually held on Wednesday mornings, with four rides catering for a wide range of abilities. |
| Bicycle User Groups (BUGs) |
A Bicycle User Group is simply a group of cyclists who encourage provision of better cycling facilities in their local area. A BUG usually works closely with the local government authority to improve the safety and convenience of cycling to work, to schools, to shops and other local destinations. There are several BUGs operating in the Perth metropolitan area. The Bicycle Transportation Alliance provides support for BUGs and encourages formation of new BUGs. The Council promotes the integration of blind and vision-impaired cyclists into the cycling mainstream. WATCAC organises a series of recreation rides, track sessions at the velodrome, and tours to bring cyclists together and give them the opportunity to ride tandems. |
